RAYSOV|PTMegaL Series Electron Linear Accelerators

Electron linear accelerators, as a type of high-energy X-ray source, are widely used for radiography and radiographic digital imaging of ultra-thick workpieces with a steel equivalent of 150 mm or more.
I. Composition of the electron linear accelerator
RAYSOV PTMegaL series electron linear accelerator consists of ray irradiation head, control system, high-voltage modulation system, as well as safety interlocking system, emergency escape protection device, etc., special travelling vehicle (optional).
II. Characteristics of electronic linear accelerators
1. Stronger ray penetration, large thickness of penetrating light
At present, the penetration thickness of X-ray machine on steel is usually less than 100mm, Co60γ ray on steel penetration thickness limit of about 200mm, and industrial applications of high-energy rays of the energy range of 2 ~ 9MeV, the thickness of the steel penetration can reach more than 380mm, therefore, more than 200mm thickness of the workpiece radiography, high-energy rays is almost the only choice.
2. Small focus, large focal length, high clarity
High-energy X-ray device volume than the general ray flaw detection machine is much larger, the heat dissipation problem is better solved, so the focus can be made very small. Such as electronic cyclotron only 0.3 ~ 0.5mm, linear accelerator focus is only 1 ~ 3mm. in addition, to ensure that the irradiation field is large enough, high-energy radiography needs to choose a large focal length, small focal length and large focal length are conducive to improving the clarity of photography.
3. Continuous operation, high efficiency
Linear accelerator from the target 1m at the measurement of up to 4 ~ 100Gy / min, much higher than the dose rate applied to industrial testing of various radiation sources. Ordinary portable industrial X-ray flaw detection machine work and intermittent ratio is generally 1:1, and the accelerator can run continuously without intermittent, continuous operation, high efficiency. At the same time using linear accelerator photographic exposure time is very short, especially for the large thickness of the workpiece photographic work efficiency is very high, through the 100mm thick steel workpiece exposure time is about 1min or so, which is unmatched by other equipment.
Third, the application of electronic linear accelerator
Electron linear accelerator is widely used in pressure vessel manufacturing industry, petroleum and petrochemical industry, heavy machinery industry, nuclear power industry, foundry industry, electrical equipment industry and military industry.
High-energy industrial CT is an advanced means of non-destructive testing in China by using high-energy sources (including electron linear accelerator, electron cyclotron, etc.) in combination with X-ray tomography (industrial CT) for 3D imaging and analysis of the internal structure of ultra-large workpieces and complex structural parts.
